What's happening at Ferrari? After the amazing victory of the Mexican Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz has become a real dilemma for the Maranello company and its managers, among those who decided on his exclusion, perhaps a little too early. Carlos Sainz has effectively erased from the collective imagination of Ferrari fans the image of his teammate Charles Lecler, who day after day appears as a spoiled brat always ready to complain without giving the impression of being a leader.
What happened in Mexico has not only upset the predictions, but has highlighted that in Formula 1 there is fate, predestination and wickedness, all elements that mix in the mind, skin and blood of the Matador. It is clear that after the victory in Mexico, someone in Ferrari and in the Agnelli family is wondering if the failure to renew the Spaniard's contract does not today represent a mistake that perhaps can never be repaired. Carlos Sainz has shown that with a good car and a decent engine he can defeat anyone, even the do-gooders, and we Ferrari fans have always been with him. Now, after this grand prix win, which smells of final victory, Carlos Sainz is the biggest regret of the Maranello team and perhaps a dilemma that someone could solve by trying to take not one but several steps back. Let's say that in Red Bull there would still be a place available for Hamilton, just as it would not be difficult to imagine his return to Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton has already won 8 world championships and winning another with Ferrari would perhaps have no flavor. But if Carlos Sainz, an outsider, an underdog, succeeded in the feat of winning a world championship with Ferrari after more than 20 years of fasting, we would go back to talking about a mythical feat like one of those stories linked to Juan Manuel Fangio or Alberto Ascari. The victory of the world championship with Carlos Sainz is a piece of history that Ferrari could still write, before the swamp of time takes over the Maranello team again. Carlos Sainz is a chosen one, the world and all of us understood it, when yesterday, coming out of the cockpit of his single-seater, he stood up and spread his arms towards the public, towards glory, the one that only the chosen ones can have, which rains down on them like gold dust, the one in the hands of the Gods of Formula 1, the dust that are the tears of the Drake.

Cosa succede in casa Ferrari?
