Given the worsening situation, we urge Italians who are temporarily staying in Lebanon to absolutely not travel to the south of the country and to return to Italy on commercial flights as soon as possible.

We also urge Italian tourists not to travel to Lebanon". This was written in X by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.

"We will respond and ask for a very high price for any act of aggression against us, from any arena". This was stated by Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu at the opening of the government meeting. The Prime Minister warned the "Iranian axis of evil" against attacking Israel, promising: "We will respond and ask for a high price for any act of aggression against us, from any front".

Lebanese media are reporting an Israeli airstrike on a power plant at a water supply site in the southern Lebanese city of Taybeh. Al Akhbar website posted a photo of the flames at the power plant on X. The Israel Defense Forces have not yet commented on the report.

The Israeli Air Force "hit a Hezbollah launcher" in southern Lebanon from which "about 30 rockets" were launched overnight and crossed the border, "most of which were intercepted," the army (IDF) said on Telegram.

In addition, other terrorist infrastructure was hit in the Marjaayoun area, also in southern Lebanon, and artillery shells were fired to "remove threats" in the Odaisseh area.

Hezbollah announced overnight that it had fired "dozens" of rockets at Israel, saying the Katyusha rockets were fired at Israel in response to Israeli attacks on Lebanon's Kfar Kela and Deir Siriane, which injured civilians.

The United States and Israel expect an Iranian strike on Monday, Axios reported, citing sources.

"Israeli Air Force fighter jets have attacked Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Kfar Kila area in southern Lebanon, including terrorist infrastructure and military buildings," the IDF spokesman said earlier, adding that "an air force aircraft eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in the Deir Siriane area" overnight. The IDF also "attacked terrorist infrastructure in the Al Adeisa area with artillery."

Iranian Minister: 'Israel is having dangerous adventures in the region'. "Iran is serious about holding the Israeli regime accountable for its crimes," said the current Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri. "The situation in the West Asia region is very delicate due to the ongoing crimes and dangerous adventures of the criminal gang that governs Tel Aviv," he wrote on X. Bagheri then called on Muslim countries in the region to take a firm stance against Israeli attacks.

The French government, following the American and British governments, has also asked its citizens to "leave Lebanon as soon as possible" due to the risk of military escalation in the Middle East. This was reported in a note from the Foreign Ministry. "In a very unstable security context, we once again draw the attention of French citizens, especially those passing through, to the fact that direct commercial flights with stopovers in France are still available, and we invite them to immediately make arrangements to leave Lebanon as soon as possible," the note reads.

Israeli Channel 13 reported that Israeli authorities urged residents of the Upper Galilee to stay close to shelters following an updated assessment of the situation by the IDF. Rocket sirens are sounding in northern Israel, Haaretz reports.

Paris to French residents in Iran, 'leave the country'
France recommends its compatriots residing in Iran to "temporarily leave the country", estimating that there is a risk of closing Iranian airspace and airports in a context of very high tension with Israel. "We once again urge our compatriots to exercise the utmost caution when traveling, to avoid any gatherings and to stay informed of any messages from the French embassy in Iran in the coming days", a note from the Foreign Ministry reports. Paris had already invited its compatriots traveling in Iran to leave the country "as soon as possible".
